Late Saturday night, a devastating crash took place when a runaway truck struck a minivan near Farm-to-Market 977. The collision sparked a fire that claimed the lives of five family members—three adults and two children—who were returning home from a family gathering. The only survivor is a nine-year-old girl, who remains in critical condition at Texas Children’s Hospital.
