RIP: Young woman tragically loses her life at the hands of someone she trusted.

Jennifer Robyn Bernard, Remembered for Her Role on General Hospital, Has Passed Away

Jennifer Robyn Bernard, best known for her role as Terry Brock on General Hospital, has sadly died. A beloved figure in the soap opera world during the 1980s, Bernard appeared in 145 episodes between 1984 and 1990, earning a lasting place in fans’ hearts for her powerful performances.

Her body was recently found in San Jacinto, California. Authorities responded to a report of an unattended death on Tuesday, and her identity was later confirmed through fingerprint analysis. While an autopsy is scheduled, the official cause of death has not yet been released.

Outside of her memorable role on General Hospital, Bernard also portrayed a psychologist in the 2002 film Voices from the High School. After her soap opera success, she largely stepped away from the spotlight but remained cherished by colleagues and fans alike.

Her death follows closely on the heels of another loss for the General Hospital family — the passing of Jackie Zeman, who famously played Bobbie Spencer. The show’s cast and crew honored Zeman with heartfelt tributes, describing her as “the heart of the show.”

Similarly, Bernard is being remembered for her grace and quiet strength. Loved ones recall her as a devoted mother to her daughters, Lacey and Cassidy, always putting family first. Though she retired from acting, she stayed active in her community and supported local theater projects from behind the scenes.

Tributes have poured in since the news broke. Rick Springfield, who played Dr. Noah Drake on General Hospital, shared his condolences: “Hearing about Jennifer’s passing is heartbreaking. Her performances were filled with real emotion, and she was just as kind off-camera.”

Jennifer Bernard’s impact went far beyond her roles. Her legacy lies in the authenticity she brought to every performance, and in the compassion she shared with those around her. She will be deeply missed, but fondly remembered by fans, friends, and family alike.

Her spirit lives on through the memories she created both onscreen and off.
