Bruce Willis was recently spotted out in public, looking upbeat during a car ride. The 69-year-old “Pulp Fiction” actor, who is battling aphasia and dementia, rarely ventures out, but he was seen riding in the passenger seat of a black vehicle through the streets of Los Angeles.
Dressed casually in a black zip-up hoodie, a white T-shirt, and a black mesh baseball cap, the “Die Hard” star appeared calm and even managed a smile. As a devoted father of five daughters, Bruce has leaned into family life. He shares Rumer, Scout, and Tallulah with ex-wife Demi Moore, and daughters Mabel Ray and Evelyn with his current wife, Emma Heming.
During a September appearance on The Drew Barrymore Show, Demi Moore offered an update on Bruce’s condition, describing it as “stable.” The 61-year-old actress, who was married to Bruce from 1987 to 2000, said she encourages their daughters to embrace who their father is now, rather than holding onto the past.
“I remind them to accept people as they are, not as they were or as you want them to be. There’s so much love, beauty, and joy in being present,” Demi said. “When I’m in L.A., I visit weekly, and I treasure the time we have together.”
Earlier this year, Rumer also shared that her father is doing well and has formed a close bond with her baby daughter, Louetta. She described Bruce as “a father through and through.” Still, insiders say the family is mindful of the road ahead and preparing for whatever may come.
